...for two dynamic speakers who will share information about the “ways and means” of making energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements—for business, residential and non-profits.

Michigan Saves: Financing Energy-efficiency for Business, Residential and Non-profits
Todd O’Grady, a Michigan Saves authorized contractor (Auditor No. 02038016) based in Howell, MI, will present an overview of Michigan Saves programs, the process, how to get started, and a question & answer session.
Michigan Saves is a nonprofit dedicated to making energy improvements easier for all Michigan energy consumers. To accomplish this, Michigan Saves makes affordable financing and other incentives available through grants and partnerships with private sector lenders. The organization also authorizes and monitors a network of contractors and recognizes those with advanced training. Its current portfolio includes programs for residential and commercial customers, in support of energy efficiency, geothermal, and solar PV projects.

Developing a Health and Energy Efficient Program for your Organization
Laurie Smith is a key part of the Building Science Academy (BSA) team and is also Sales & Business Development Coordinator with Building Science Energy Services (BSES). She is a BPI Certified Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, and Residential Building Envelope Whole House Air Leakage Control Installer. Prior to joining BSA, Laurie worked in automotive design and co-owned a successful design.
