The most helpful aspects of my undergraduate education in mathematics were: My mathematics education equipped me with critical thinking skills and the ability to articulate the reasoning behind a proposed solution.
The advice I’d offer to current undergraduate students in mathematics: Be open to opportunities that might not seem like your "dream job" right away. There is time to grow and develop, and there is always something you can learn from any experience.
In a typical day in my work, I: develop marketing strategy (advertising, portfolio strategy, campaign development, etc.); lead innovation projects; lead research projects with consumer insight agencies; track consumer sentiment; manage marketing budget
