Mary Lohman
Mary Lohman began her dance training with the School of the Grand Rapids Ballet under the direction of Charthel Arthur and Robert Estner. Her continued studies took her to the Joffrey, Boston, and Cleveland Ballet Schools, culminating as a scholarship student of David Howard in NYC. Ms. Lohman has danced professionally with the Hartford Ballet, CT., Kintz Ensemble, The Grand Rapids Ballet Company and UICA Dance Collaborative. With the Grand Rapids Ballet, she was privileged to perform principal roles in many premier ballets, including Our Town with Phillip Jerry, and Mien Himmel with Winthrop Corey.
In musical theatre, Ms. Lohman has contributed as a dancer and choreographer at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, Circle Theatre, Actor’s Theatre and Opera Grand Rapids. She was privileged to recently portray “Cassie” in A Chorus Line at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. She currently teaches ballet and yoga and does freelance work as a model and commercial talent.
