GVSU Talent Management hosts a semesterly, full-day orientation for GVSU staff. The next New Staff Orientation will take place September 27, 2024. Registration link will be available soon.

Orientation day is designed to be highly interactive. It includes:

  • A self-guided campus tour/scavenger hunt
  • A “Resource Fair” with a wide range of on-campus departments who want to meet you!
  • Collaborative discussion around important scenarios
  • Opportunities to connect with current students 
  • Exercises tying your role to our mission and values
