Description

A Pow Wow is a community gathering and celebration of culture through ceremony, song, dance, feasting and socializing.  Traditional Pow Wows include dancers, drummers, invited Elders, Veterans and other honored guests to perform and participate in the celebration.  A successful Pow Wow includes a variety of areas including dancers, drummers, singers, vendors, ceremony and food.  To help better understand the cultural importance of each of these areas, we have outlined some of the areas below.

Timeline of Events
1:00pm                    Doors Open and Vendor Sales Begin
2:00pm - 5:00pm      Grand Entry and Dancing and Drumming 
5:00pm - 7:00 pm     Break (Vendors still open for sales)
7:00pm - 10:00pm    2nd Grand Entry and Dancing and Drumming
