OMA will collaborate with Sigma Lambda Gamma to discuss the importance of Latino youth civic engagement. Members of this Latina-based sorority have been very active in Voto Latino’s Rep Your Letters Campaign, which has Latin@-based Greek organizations help registering people to vote before midterm elections in November. Milinda Ysasi-Castanon, Grand Valley alumna, will share her personal story about why she got involved politically.
