Mathematics, Computer Sciences, and Engineering Publication Opportunities
American Journal of Undergraduate Research (AJUR)
AJURis a refereed journal for undergraduate research in the pure and applied sciences, mathematics, engineering, technology, and related areas in education.
Furman University Electronic Journal of Undergraduate Mathematics
This journal accepts papers of significant mathematical interest written by undergraduate students. Papers of all types will be considered, including technical, historical, and expository papers. Any paper submitted by an undergraduate must have the approval of a faculty sponsor.
Involve: a Journal of Mathematics
Involve is dedicated to showcasing and encouraging high quality mathematical research involving students at all levels. All manuscripts submitted for publication should be publishable in quality journals in their respective fields. Submissions in all mathematical areas are encouraged.
Journal of Young Investigators (JYI)
JYI is an exciting student-led initiative to broaden the scope of the undergraduate scientific experience. JYI provides opportunities for students to participate in the scientific review and publication process, primarily through the operation of its peer-reviewed journal for undergraduates. JYI publishes the best submissions from undergraduates, with an emphasis on both the quality of research and the manner in which it is communicated.
Missouri Journal of Mathematical Sciences (MJMS)
MJMS publishes well-motivated original research articles as well as expository and survey articles of exceptional quality in mathematical sciences. A section of the MJMS is also devoted to interesting mathematical problems and solutions.
Morehead Electronic Journal of Applicable Mathematics (MEJAM)
MEJAM is an interdisciplinary journal, sponsored by Morehead State University, which publishes the work of undergraduate students. Papers may be historical, expository, or completely original in nature but must adhere to strict academic standards and should explore some aspect of the application of mathematics. Paper will typically be the result of summer research programs, internships, or other school projects. Papers from all disciplines will be considered for publication.
The Pentagon is the official journal of Kappa Mu Epsilon, a mathematics honor society. Articles of interest to undergraduate mathematics students are included, assisting the society in achieving its objectives. Most of the papers are written by student KME members and many have previously been presented at national or regional conventions.
Rose-Hulman Undergraduate Mathematics Journal
The journal is devoted entirely to papers written by undergraduates on topics related to mathematics. In order to maintain a high level of exposition, each paper must be sponsored by a mathematician familiar with the student’s work and each paper will be refereed.
