The West Michigan Regional Undergraduate Science Research Conference – Graduate School Fair on Saturday, November 17, 2012 is approaching fast!!! We invite you to share the story of your research project with other college students, faculty, and research scientists, build your network of peers with similar interests and experiences and hear stimulating talks on current topics in biology, chemistry, physics, and more. The science research conference begins at 9:00 AM and doors open at 8:30 AM. Lunch will be provided. Please forward this invitation to your student and faculty colleagues to encourage their participation.
This year’s keynote speaker is Elizabeth H. Simmons, Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Dr. Simmons is the Dean of Lyman Briggs College and Professor, Physics and Astronomy with Michigan State University.
Our faculty presenters include Greg Fraley, Ph.D. - Associate Professor, Biology with Hope College; Bart Williams, Ph.D. - Associate Professor, with Van Andel Research Institute; Jonathan Fritz, Ph.D. - Assistant Professor, Chemistry with Aquinas College; and Stanley Haan, Ph.D. - Dean for the Natural Sciences and Mathematic, and Professor, Physics with Calvin College.
