PCEC Advising Center

Who Should Use the PCEC Advising Center?

The Seymour & Esther Padnos College of Engineering & Computing (PCEC) Student Services Center is available for incoming freshman and transfer students, and currently enrolled students. We offer academic advising services to those students interested in a major or minor in the fields of Engineering or Computer Science.

Incoming Freshman Students

At the PCEC Advising Center we value the opportunity to start working with incoming freshman as early as possible. We are available to meet with students and parents who are interested in our programs and who have questions about what makes us unique. Once you have made your decision to attend GVSU, we will assist you starting at Freshman Orientation and continue through graduation. The PCEC Advising Center also works closely with new international Students.

Incoming Transfer Students

We appreciate the complex nature of transferring into a new university. In our office, we enjoy making the process as enjoyable as possible and will help you to quickly get transitioned to GVSU. We are available to assist you in scheduling classes and to ensure that your course work transfers over appropriately.

Currently Enrolled Students

We are here to assist you on your road to graduation. Make sure you utilize our office as you work towards completing your degree. If you have not yet met with one of our advisors, schedule an appointment today!
