Paying an International Scholar

The payroll office welcomes all foreign national visitors. Before a department invites a foreign national visitor please be aware that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) impose strict regulations on the payment to foreign national visitors. Grand Valley State will adhere to these regulations at all times.

Before you invite a foreign national visitor, please contact:
            1. The Padnos International Center to determine the visa type needed to  
                allow him/her to visit campus.
