The John T. Batchelder Political Science Scholarship is intended to support academically high achieving political science majors fund their undergraduate careers.
Rules of Eligibility:
- Candidates must be accepted for or currently attending GVSU
- Must be entering junior year carrying a minimum of 55 credit hours
- Must be enrolled with full or part-time status as a Political Science major, degree-seeking student
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or greater and an average GPA of 3.3 in Political Science courses
- Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Financial need may be considered and can be demonstrated by the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Transfer students are eligible to receive this scholarship
- This scholarship may be renewed without reapplication provided the student continues to meet the qualifications and based on availability of funding. This scholarship may be awarded to an individual for a maximum of two (2) academic years.
