PLS/IR Department Hosts Lecture on China by Kaiser Kuo

In partnership with the World Affairs Council of West Michigan, the Political Science Department and International Relations program brought Kaiser Kuo to campus to lecture on China. Kuo is the host of the Sinica Podcast, the leading English-language podcast on current affairs in China, and a journalist who lived in China for 20 years. His talk to a full hall of GVSU students and faculty focused on the importance of getting China policy right, and he also shared what he considers the basic qualities to look for in a "China expert" so that we are better able to determine whose opinions and perspectives we should take seriously.
