Welcome to the Community Reading Project!

The College of Interdisciplinary Studies, the Library, and the University Books Store are excited to invite you to participate in the Community Reading Project (CRP).  All members of the Grand Valley State University community are invited to participate in this University-wide endeavor.

CRP distributes over one hundred copies of the selected text each year, beginning in December, to the GVSU community.  The distribution is meant to encourage community members to read and discuss the book.  CRP provides venues for discussions, among other activities.

Throughout the academic year, there will be discussion groups, speakers, films, panel discussions and a myriad of other events focusing on the themes found in the community read.  Please continue to check this site frequently for resources to enhance your reading experience.

Large Demand for 2010 CRP Selection

Due to the overwhelming interest in "Three Cups of Tea," all of our free copies are gone.  Please see our news item for a discount from the University Book Store, and other places where the book may be available.

2010 CRP Selection

The Community Reading Project is pleased to announce the selection of the Fifth Annual Community Reading Book: Three Cups of Tea, by Greg Mortenson.
