Grand Valley Mourns the loss of Myrna Loraine Laug

Myrna Loraine Laug, age 83, was called home to her Lord and reunited with her husband, Glenn, on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Loraine was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved attending her grandchildren's school events. She was employed for 18 years at GVSU where she worked as the Student employment coordinator and enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years. She is survived by her children, Cheryl and Mike Lillibridge, Jody Schwallier Otwell and Carey Otwell, Doug and Shari Laug; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Loraine's wish, cremation has taken place with private family services to be held. Relatives and friends may meet the family 5-8 PM Friday, February 22nd, at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice, 100 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49502.
