Howmet Aerospace Sponsoring Muskegon Field Trips
Howmet Aerospace is sponsoring K-12 schools and out-of-school organizations in Muskegon with $400 towards transportation cost for field trips!
Howmet Aerospace, a leading manufacturer of engineered components for the aerospace industry, is the proud sponsor of the Howmet Transportation grant program. This grant provides $400 towards the transportation costs for Muskegon County K-12 schools or Muskegon County out-of-school STEAM organizations to use for field trips. Participating organizations include: Lakeshore FabLab, Muskegon Museum of Art, Hackley Public Library, Lakeshore Museum Center, Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI) and U.S.S. Silversides - Submarine Museum.
This program is a great way for students and other K-12 student groups to learn about history, science, and culture without having to worry about the cost of transportation.
Grants are available only for Muskegon County schools and organizations. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis while funds last, and two visits per grade level of a school can be awarded. Applicants are encouraged to make the most of their field trip by scheduling more than one visit at a time. Make it a day downtown!
