Engineering is Elementary

Teachers Invited!

Educators are invited to participate in Engineering is Elementary Professional Development!

Encourage critical thinking and problem solving to inspire young learners to think like engineers. Engineering is Elementary, presents real world challenges that encourage students to explore multiple ways to solve a problem. Following the Engineering Design Process and using scientific inquiry, students make connections to the real world. Standards-aligned engineering units guide students to activate and share prior knowledge as they build communication, perseverance, collaboration, and presentation skills— those skills necessary to be successful in today’s world. In addition to STEM, students learn literacy and social studies.
