Mary Jane Dockeray Scholarship
Date:
March 8, 2013
Time:
12:00 a.m.
Location:
Each year, the Mary Jane Dockeray Scholarships for Careers in Science are awarded to graduating high school seniors from public or private schools in the Kent, Muskegon, and Ottawa Intermediate School Districts with an interest in pursuing a career in science. The scholarships can be used by the winners to help with expenses at the college or university of their choice.
Applications are due March 8, 2013.
The application process consists of submitting the completed application form, a personal essay, a high school transcript, and two recommendations in support of the application. One recommendation should come from a teacher at the student’s school and the other from someone not connected with the school. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of past academic achievement and their potential for success in a science career.
For more information and forms go to the Mary Jane Dockeray Scholarship page.
