Has anyone been able to arrive at a formula for attaching value for their
documents collection for insurance purposes? We have a very large
collection of federal, state, international and foreign documents and our
Department of Risk Management is attempting to place a value on our
documents collection as a separate entity for the first time.
I've tried to search the GOVDOC-L archives, but have been unable to find
anything on target. If anyone has already developed and used a formula
successfully, I'd certainly appreciate knowing before I try to reinvent the
