The GVSU Alumni Relations office proudly announces the recipients of the 2026 Alumni Awards. Three outstanding Lakers will be recognized for their dedication to the university and their significant contributions to their fields and communities:'
- Kala Gibson ’94, Distinguished Alumni Award
- Kristen Vu ’08 & ’16, Outstanding Educator Award
- Ashley Melton ’24, Young Alumni Award
