Make A Difference Day

On October 23rd, 2010 hundreds of GVSU students, staff, and faculty served the Grand Rapids, Michigan community. The day began at 8:15 a.m. with a Marvelous Kick-Off speaker and continued throughout the day with various service projects. 16 Non-Profit Organizations hosted students at 18 sites this year. Volunteers provided over 1060 hours of service and provided an economic impact of nearly $21,000 (Independent Sector).
