December 16, 2024 | 9:00 am to Noon | American Heart Association - Basic Life Support (CPR) Initial Certification Course

The Grand Valley State University (GVSU) Interprofessional Simulation Center offers American Heart Association Basic Life Support courses.  Course content includes:

  • CPR for adult, child and infants
  • Use of bag mask devices and oxygen ventilation
  • Use of an AED
  • Management of foreign body obstructions in responsive and unresponsive victims

These courses are taught at the GVSU Interprofessional Simulation Center located on GVSU's Health Campus at 333 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 in Room, DCIH 260.

These courses are open to students in health-related academic programs, faculty, staff and the general public.
