About
Professor Peggy Howard teaches undergraduate level public relations and research courses. She has 20 plus years of public relations and communications experience gained through various positions, including market communications director for Saint Joseph’s Care Center, South Bend, Indiana, marketing manager for Lakeland Regional Health Care System, St. Joseph, Michigan, and as a public relations consultant. Howard also co-owned Straightline, a public relations firm, with business partner Bill McKendry, for five years. She served as president and large accounts manager for the firm until its sale to Lambert, Edwards & Associates in May, 2005. She is a member of PRSA, and has served as a volunteer for numerous nonprofit organizations.
