Stuff I’m currently recommending to my friends ... So Much for That, a novel by Lionel Shriver; Kimbra, a musician out of New Zealand, and her album Vows, and the C25K running app by ZenLabs, which made me into a runner which I never thought was possible!
My best advice to students is to ... engage with and connect the work you do in the classroom to the real world every chance you get.
If I were not a professor, I think I would like to ... be a policy wonk for the Urban Institute.
People are surprised to know that I ... sing opera.
At home, I have ... a dentist for a husband, a very curious toddler and two cats.p class="trivialist"> My favorite pizza toppings are ... black olives, sausage and mushrooms (they have to be REAL mushrooms though, I can’t stand the canned kind!).
