Front Desk Workers - Rec Center and the Kelly Family Sports Center
Front Desk workers are responsible for providing a friendly, customer service oriented atmosphere. Users will see this staff upon entering and exiting the facility. Front Desk workers will handle all customer-related requests such as racquetball court reservations, memberships, equipment rentals, answering phones, etc.
Cardio-Station - Rec Center Only
Cardio-Station workers are responsible for overseeing the cardio fitness area. Cardio-station workers will be trained to assist users on how to properly operate the cardio equipment. Cardio-station workers are also responsible for assisting with the cleanliness of equipment, and monitoring the functioning of equipment.
Free Weight Room - Rec Center Only
Free Weight Room Workers are responsible for overseeing the weight lifting center. Free weight room workers will be trained to properly assist users who need a spotter. Workers are also responsible for assisting with the cleanliness of equipment, and monitoring the functioning of equipment.
Selectorized Weight Area/Court Monitor Positions - Rec Center Only
Selectorized Wt Area/Court Monitors are responsible for overseeing the selectorized weight area and courts. Workers will be trained to assist users on how to properly operate the weight equipment. Workers are also responsible for assisting with the cleanliness of equipment, and monitoring the functioning of equipment. Another responsibility of this area is to monitor the courts to make sure users are abiding by facility rules.
Equipment Technician Position
Repairs and performs basic maintenance of equipment with complex moving parts and sophisticated electronic equipment with minimal supervision. This position includes, but is not limited to: inspecting, lubricating and cleaning equipment, as well as repairing or reporting needed repairs.
