Experience:
Salvador began teaching at GVSU a number of years ago. His areas of specialty include family and couples therapy, substance abuse and addictions, groups, abuse and trauma, eating disorders, cultural diversity, bilingual therapy (Spanish/English), psychometric testing, holistic health;  career counseling, supervision, consultation, health and wellness, program development and strategic planning. Community Involvement includes GVSU Upward Bound, GVSU LSU, Latino Mental Health Coalition, GVSU Career and Counseling Center's Eating Disorders Committee, Latino Youth Conference, Spectrum Health Latino Health Presentation Series, Latino Mental Health Forum, Bethany Christian Services, Educational Connections, United Methodist House, Hispanic Action Committee, and Network 180 Environmental Scan Research Team, GVSU ACES, and Hispanic Recovery Services Development Committee.
