Service and Advocacy Student Organizations
The list of the 50+ service and advocacy organizations at GVSU is found on Orgsync and listed under the "service and advocacy" classification.

Service and Advocacy Council - Registered Student Organization Standing
All Service and Advocacy organizations are required to send at least one representative to each of the monthly Service and Advocacy Council Meetings in order to remain in "good standing" (see S&A Council Meeting schedule here). Organizations are allowed one excused absence per semester. If an organization fails to send a representative to two (2) or more Service and Advocacy Council Meetings, they will be placed on "probation" and will not be eligible to reserve space on campus (for meetings, events, etc.) nor will they be able to request/receive Student Senate funds for the remainder of the semester.

Starting a new Service and Advocacy Organization:

Are you passionate about something that there isn't already an organization for? Start an organization! Information on starting a new organization can be found on the Student Organization Development website.
