Who are we? Where do we stand?

We are a community of student socialists actively fighting for a society organized around human need and not profit. The liberation of the oppressed is essential to the fight for socialism and impossible without it. We fight for real social, economic, and political equality for women, immigrants, racial minorities, workers, sexual minorities, and other oppressed groups. China and Cuba, like the former Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc, have nothing to do with socialism. We support the struggles of people in these countries against the bureaucratic ruling class. Finally, Socialism requires that we promote an active social life stimulated through leisurely activities, events, discussion, forums, conferences, study groups, and social outings.
