About

The purpose of our organization is to provide a weekly opportunity for students to exercise, promote and explore creative expression through the written word.  Club consists largely of non-majors who wish to hone and share their craft.  

Club meets at 9PM every Thursday in Kirkhof.  Meetings generally consist of official business, a quote, and fun fact followed by student readings with peer review and criticism.  Much of the work shared at club is creative in nature and largely fictional.  However, all genres are welcome at club.  If there is time at the end of meetings, we will have a writing exercise.

Membership of Writers’ Club shall consist of any interested student currently enrolled at GVSU. Writers’ Club will also consider community citizens and students from other schools.
