Grand Valley State University Women's Water Polo Team is considered a club team here at Grand Valley. We are currently working toward converting to club varsity in the eyes of the Student Senate.

Each member of the team is required to pay dues. Typically, dues are $350 for the season. This money covers hotel costs, gas for out of state tournaments, CWPA fees, tournament entry fees, and equipment.

Our team is relatively young only being 6 years old. Although we are considered a club team, we are members of the CWPA and compete against other universities both in and outside of Michigan. As a competitive team, we are always striving to make it to nationals. We are funded partly by Grand Valley but the majority of our support comes from dues and fund raising.

In April 2010, we qualified to compete at Nationals for the very first time. Qualifying for the CWPA National tournament is the main goal of each season and we hope to return again this year to beat our 11th place ranking from last year.

Check out our Facebook group page for more information on current activities and fundraising opportunities.
