We strive to provide excellent professional development opportunities to all pre-service teachers here at Grand Valley through guest speakers, service learning, volunteer opportunities, and other group projects. Our meetings are held in the Kirkhof Center room 2270 unless otherwise announced for the fall semester 2011. Our next meeting is October 10th from 7 - 8:30 pm.

 

Some events we have planned for the year include an informational session of the College of Education and information on Charter schools. We will also be partaking in some sort of fundraiser such as a bake sale in Kirkhof during midterms week. We also will be hosting a Thanksgiving Potluck with a viewing of the film Waiting for Superman. In December we will be wrapping books and decorating holiday cards to give to a local elementary school.

 

Requesting to join through STUEY does not make you an official member of Teachers of Tomorrow- only participation will. This adds you to the stuey roster list.
