WCKS, The Whale broadcasts from Allendale, Michigan on the campus of Grand Valley State University. It is entirely student run and positions are open to all students. We are a freeform music station, meaning that we play any and every type of music on the planet. Our programming includes a wide variety of music and talk shows. Genres include Top 30, Loud Rock, RPM, Hip Hop, Jazz/World, and Talk. You can listen in to our broadcast live online at www.thewhale.org. Membership is open to any current student, regardless of major or experience. We are continuing to grow every semester, and the constant support from our listeners is what makes The Whale able to share new music with the Grand Valley community and the world-at-large.
