Math and Stats Club

Academic & Professional

Events

We will start the year with the first meeting on September 9, at 4pm, in MAK A-1-182. Come join us for free pizza and drinks, and more importantly, good for good conversation and fun. We will be planning the events for the year and any ideas are welcome!

Our next event is the Math and Stats department picnic, on September 20, which we will co-sponsor. Free food, drinks and deserts! And, no, math and stats professors don't solve math/stats problems during the picnic. There's many opportunities of games to participate, so don't be afraid of getting bored.

During the past year, we organized a euchre night, watched Flatland, the movie about the revelation of the third dimension to the creatures who live in the plane, had pie fun during the Pi week (the week of March 14), attended seminars, and participated in many other activities. We will be having many great events this year as well. Join our email list if you would like to receive up-to-date information about all the events.
