Pre-Nursing Association

For all of you who have ever been interested in the Nursing field or even medicine in general, come check out the Pre-Nursing Association!

The American Nurses Association states that Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations.

In other words, Nursing is a fantastic field where smart, compassionate, personable, adaptable people aid in treating and preventing illness and disease. This club aims to further your knowledge about this fantastic field for those of you who strive to help others and are selfless in your work ethic. PNA meetings will not only present the basics of Nursing, but will also explain what it takes to get into Nursing school, and explore other Nursing professions with or beyond your BSN degree. Several meeting include mock interviews to prepare for the real Nursing school interview, a panel of current Nursing students that are more than happy to answer further questions, and Nursing professors that explain what the curriculum is like.

If you feel that this club would be a good fit for you, then please request to join on Stuey. We hope to see you at the meetings!
