Faculty-led Financial Information

Students enrolled in GVSU Faculty-led programs during the Spring/Summer term may be eligible for Financial Aid if they register for, and complete, at least 6 credits during Spring/Summer term.  The main categories of aid are listed below.  Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you need specific information.

Federal Aid: This includes grants, subsidized student loans, and unsubsidized student loans.

Alternative Aid: Loans are available from private lenders. Some may require a co-signer.

Refunds

Students who are not accepted into the program, or whose program is canceled, will be refunded the $100.00 deposit paid at the time of the application.  For all other students, the deposit is non-refundable.  Students who withdraw from the program are responsible for all unrecoverable amounts.  This includes money paid on the student's behalf for flights, excursions, payments to host institutions, and more.
