Faculty-Led Information for Non-GVSU Students

GVSU is happy to offer Non-GVSU students an opportunity to participate in a GVSU faculty-led program.

Application Process

Before applying to a faculty-led study Abroad Program at GVSU a Non-GVSU student will need to submit a guest application to GVSU.

After you have filled out all of the information, please take the application to the Registrar’s office(or the officer at your school who processes guest applications) where Part II will be completed and signed. The completed guest application should then be sent from your home institution to GVSU.

After being accepted as a GVSU guest student, you will be able to apply for a faculty-led program at https://secure.gvsu.edu/oasis/ using your Gnumber and your GVSU e-mail which you will receive from the Register’s office.

The general requirement for any student who wants to go abroad is a minimum GPA of 2.5  (3.0 for graduate students). Please check your specific program for any additional requirements.

Financial Aid
Non GVSU student admitted for study abroad are not eligible for Financial Aid from GVSU. Check with your home school's study abroad and financial aid office for details on applying financial aid from your home school toward study abroad program costs.
