How Green R U?

Sustainability - social, environmental, and economical - aims to meet the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. It is an integral practice at Grand Valley State University, especially through student life. We wish to recognize these practices by challenging you to take the "How Green R U?" survey created by Housing and Residence Life and the Sustainable Community Development Initiative. This survey presents the opportunity to learn, through different facets, the personal practices in your life that are sustainable, as well as some areas to improve in. These actions will hopefully evolve into lasting values to live more sustainably and consciously, which are principal to living a happier, more satisfying life. Thank you for participating and accepting the challenge!

The survey is easy and simple. Login here to complete the survey. The short survey asks questions ranging from water and energy usage to computing and food. Once you have completed the survey, you will see some statistics from what you have entered, as well as what your peers have entered. Additionally, you will be given a percentage of how sustainable you personally are. Percentages are ranked from 0 to 50% (bronze ranking), 51 to 70% (silver), 71 to 90% (gold), and 91 to 100% (platinum). See where your sustainability practices range and see what you can do to improve your scores!
