Reading Support in the Tutoring and Reading Center
The Reading Center offers drop-in and appointment sessions for students to build reading comprehension skills, be more effective readers, and "hack" reading in college. Reading support is available for all students and all courses, and is a great resource for international and ESL students!
Peer tutors in The Reading Center have been trained on comprehensive reading strategies as well as tutoring best practices. Students will work with a tutor individually for 50 minutes to develop strategies for reading and learning successfully in their college courses.

Sunday: 4 pm-8 pm
Monday: 9 am-8 pm
Tuesday: 9 am-8 pm
Wednesday: 9 am-8 pm
Thursday: 9 am-8 pm
Friday: 9 am-4 pm
Schedule an Appointment in Navigate
- Click on “Schedule an Appointment” on the Navigate homepage.
- Office: select “Tutoring”
- Service: select “Appointment Tutoring”
- Click on “Find Available Time”
- Select course under Virtual or In-person Location
- Select the desired date and time.
- Select the “Schedule” button to confirm your appointment.
