It is estimated that 1 in 10 seniors, at some point, are victims of elder abuse. A victim can be anyone: rich, poor, independent or live in a facility. Learn the signs and what can be done if you suspect that a client, family member, friend or neighbor may be a victim of elder abuse. Also, learn what communities can do to stop elder abuse! Presenters include Dolores Trese, Attorney with Legal Aid of West Michigan, Paul Bowmaster, Adult Protective Services of Ottawa County and Briann Flower Ottawa County Community Mental Health.
