The Culture of Strong Women & Domestic Violence

This interactive training led by Center for Women in Transition staff celebrates the strength of women and addresses domestic violence victimization. Participants will explore the culture of strong women while examining the hidden nature of domestic violence. Participants will gain the skills of how to respond to and empower survivors. This training is for service providers, advocates, community members, students and others interested in learning more about empowering women and overcoming barriers.
The series is free. For social workers needing CEU's for licensing requirements this will be available for $15 @ the door. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches; light refreshments will be provided.
