The play offers an exciting collection of real-life stories from women and girls about the gutsy, outrageous, courageous things they have done. | Women's Center Virtual Tour | During the Academic Year (end of August - April), the Women's Center is open Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. During the Summer, we're open Monday - Friday from 8am - 5 pm. We are located in the Kirkhof Center building: 1201 Krikhof Center. | 8 |

| Pushing Boundaries and Leading A Bold Life (TTO 2012) | Pushing Boundaries: An Ovarian Gathering took place on Sunday, December 4, 2011 for all the activists and directors involved in the February 2012 production of That Takes Ovaries. | Celebration of Women Awards 2010 | The Celebration of Women Awards was held on Thursday, April 1st. This event is sponsored by the GVSU Women's Commission. The mission of the GVSU Women's Commission is to ensure an environment that supports the rights of all women at the university. The commission is committed to working in partnership with the university on developing policies that remove barriers that impede women's learning, professional growth, creativity, employment, and society. As part of their work on campus, the Women's Commission annual recognizes women students, faculty, and staff who have made outstanding contributions to GVSU. | 11 |
| EqualiTea 2010 | On Tuesday March 23rd, the Women's Center held its annual EqualiTea. The event is a celebration of the centuries-old tradition of combining tea parties with discussions of literature, politics, and reform. There was entertainment, food, and an opportunity for interaction among diverse participants. "Crumpets for conversation" are a tradition at the tea and engage participants in small groups. This year, the dialogue centered around two pieces from the play Rent which were performed at the event. | 9 |
| Indulge in a Cause 2010 | Indulge in a Cause, the Women Center's annual fundraiser, took place on February 18. The event featured a silent auction and a chocolate dessert buffet. The proceeds of the event go towards Women Center's programs and the endowment fund. | 5 |
