Ready To Run - Campaign Training For Women

Are you Ready to Run?

On April 20, 2013, Grand Valley State University Women’s Center will host Ready to Run Michigan, a bi-partisan campaign training program designed to empower women to participate more fully in government, and is for any woman who wants to run for office, work on a campaign, get appointed to office, or learn more about the political system. Hosted by Grand Valley State University’s Women’s Center, Ready to Run Michigan is specifically designed to encourage and equip women to run for office.

This one-day program will de-mystify the process of running for elected office. Ready to Run will show women how to launch their own campaigns and provide invaluable networking with other candidates, current elected or appointed leaders, and campaign consultants.

The Ready to Run program curriculum includes the following topics:

  • Fundraising
  • Media Training
  • Developing and launching a campaign
  • Laying the groundwork for public life

Thank you to our generous sponsors!
