 Rogue River Watershed Project
Water Quality
In order to determine the water quality of the watershed, several scientific methods were used. The following measurements and inventories were performed:
- Stream velocity
- Stream temperature
- Abundance and type of fish species
- Abundance and type of insect species
- Road/stream crossing inventory
- Compiling existing data (land use, soils, topography, etc.) to create a geographic information system for the watershed

All of these methods helped us gather information about the types of pollutants in the watershed and their sources. From these studies, we have found that sedimentation and thermal pollution are the biggest adversaries. These two pollutants come from multiple sources and are a threat to the Rogue River Watershed. |
