We are excited to welcome you to campus this August!
Housing assignment letters are sent electronically in late June that contain helpful information regarding life in Grand Valley's living center communities. The mailing shares the days and times where students are welcome to move in to various living areas.
Please review the University Housing departmental website for specific questions regarding arrival, housing and residential life.

As a student living off campus, you will participate in a small group with other new students who live off campus as well.
Transitions is a great way to prepare yourself for the upcoming academic year, meet people and make connections both in and out of the classroom, and gain insight into the resources and services that GVSU has to offer. The Transitions 2014: New Student Orientation program is directed towards first year students, but you are welcome to attend Transitions events or Laker Welcome to learn more about campus life. As a transfer student, you will not be added to a Transitions small group.
