Financial Support and Scholarships
The Women's Center wants to support students in their educational pursuits. Below are two scholarships that may be of interest to students. If you do not qualify for either scholarship, the Women's Center works with the Office of Financial Aid to connect students to resources.
The Women's Center Non-traditional Student Scholarship
The GVSU Women's Center Non-traditional Student Scholarship Committee will select one or more recipients for this scholarship. The scholarship is designed to benefit non-traditional students with unique pathways to education including child/family responsibilities, re-entry to college after some significant time away, or exceptional life circumstances due to employment or other challenges.
The award, a stipend equivalent to three credit hours of in-state tuition, must be used at GVSU by the end of the semester following the award.
The Jean Enright Scholarship

Other Scholarship Opportunities
Our staff are trained to assist individual students with locating resources.

2. All nominations should be returned no later than March 13 at 5 pm.
3. Award recipients will be recognized at the Women's Commission Celebrating Women Awards in March.
