The purpose of the Grand Valley State University Alumni Association is to promote, assist, and perpetuate the goals and objectives of the University. The Alumni Association represents a vital resource of the University. The alumni and the University are united through the Association by common interests, concerns, and goals.
The Grand Valley State University Alumni Relations team is an on campus department located inside the Alumni House & Visitor Center. Alumni Relations is made up of a team of full-time staff members that develop and create programming and events for alumni in order to keep them connected to the university no matter where they live. The Alumni Relations team assists the GVSU Alumni Association in achieving its goals set forth by the strategic plan.
University Development is a department on campus that works to secure financial gifts to support the university and its students. Gift opportunities range from scholarships, to endowment, planned giving, annual gifts, capital projects and more.
