Raw Deal: Everything You Knew About HIV is Wrong and Why that Increases Your Risk of Infection
Presented by Todd Heywood
Monday, October 28th at 4:00 p.m., 2266 Kirkhof Center
Participants will be presented with epidemiology as well as biological realities for the HIV epidemic's continued gallop through the men who have sex with men (MSM) communities (gay, bisexual and queer men as well as transgender women). This information then serves as the introduction to a series of well-established, but mostly unknown, risk reduction techniques which will help participants avoid HIV and other STI infections. The lecture will explicitly discuss barebacking and raw sex as healthy sexual choices for MSM communities and be presented in a sex positive context.
