Can't find a GVSU program that fits your needs?
GVSU students may choose to participate in a Non-GVSU program in a location of their choice through a program sponsored by another institution or study abroad organization.
We are aware that our existing partnerships may not meet the academic needs and personal interests of every GVSU student, therefore, we encourage students to seek opportunities through other organizations (non-GVSU programs) alongside GVSU partnerships when exploring study abroad options.
You don't have to navigate this process alone. Study Abroad Peer Advisers are happy to advise on Non-GVSU Programs.
If you participate in a non-GVSU program:
All non-GVSU program applicants must complete an OASIS Application through the Padnos International Center.
GVSU had entered into affiliation agreements with a limited number of quality Study Abroad providers that specialize in providing students with Study Abroad experiences that feature a variety of educational opportunities as well as on site orientation and support!
The biggest upside for students is the schedule of scholarships and discounts available to them via these providers. GVSU students also benefit from our familiarity with, and confidence in these affiliate programs.
Keep in mind, you are NOT limited to affiliate program options.
