- Our Career Center provides comprehensive support and resources for all students at GVSU. It is recommended that you connect with the counselors there as soon as you transition to GVSU.

NOTES:
- Degree offered: B.S. in exercise science
- This guide fulfills the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA). Social science elective must be a non-PSY course. Humanities electives must be selected from different disciplines. Please check with your community college advisor for additional associate degree requirements. GVSU will still honor the MACRAO agreement.
- Students must take both BIO 227 + 227L and BIO 228 + 228L to get credit that counts in this major.

- Students interested in pursuing a doctoral program in Physical Therapy should take PHY 121/122L instead of PHY 105/105L
- Upon transfer to GVSU, students will need to choose from one of the three following emphasis areas for the Exercise Science major: Health Care, Physical Activity and Health, or Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance. More information on these three emphases can be found on the Movement Science website.
