Combined Degree Programs
Most undergraduate degrees can be combined with a master's degree to save you time and money, and get you into the workforce sooner. On average students save $8,500 in our combined degree programs and take up to four fewer classes than if earning the degree separately. You can even build your own combined degree from programs in different disciplines to further personalize your education and meet specific career goals.
Honors College
The Frederik Meijer Honors College at Grand Valley State University offers a vibrant learning community and extraordinary opportunities for academically motivated students. It combines the best of the liberal arts college tradition with the resources, facilities, and affordability of a major state university.
First Year Learning Community
The First-Year Learning Community is an optional program that consists of connected courses that have been developed by faculty to focus on a shared theme. Each pairing satisfies portions of the general education program requirements while enhancing the student experience.
Research Opportunities
Undergraduate research and scholarship is a unique opportunity for students to work with faculty members to produce an original output that contributes to the knowledge of a particular academic discipline.
