Class Announcement: Ethnographic Methods
April 20, 2016
Ethnographic research allows us to learn about human groups through direct interaction, including observation, participation and interviews, and involves the recording and analysis of findings for research purposes and/or problem solving. These skills are used in many professions and are an important component in Design Thinking.
This class is excellent preparation for careers involving research, writing, observation, investigation, and interviewing in such fields as marketing, criminal justice, and the social sciences.
*Ant 400 is one of the courses required for the new Certificate in Applied Anthropology. Please contact Professor Deana Weibel at [email protected] for more details.
